Healing Detoxification

Hello Awakened Palate Family! Today is the beginning of my two month detoxification, which will include raw fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs, water, smoothies and juicing! This is extrememly exciting because I have wanted to take this journey for quite sometime. There are many reasons that  I take this journey, one being that to cleanse the body from our everyday living is important, as our body is our temple and we must love it and treat it with care! Fruits, Vegetables, Herbs and Nuts have everything that our bodies need to survive, thrive and repair, fiber, protein, vitamins, folic acid and much more!

I will share with you light recipes, photo's of recipes and my progress, positive affirmations that are assisting me as I push forward to complete the detox and positive spirit connections that are developed as this journey flourishes!

If you choose to join me in this journey, please update me with your your progress! I want to know what is going with you as you step in this reality of positive spiritual growth! If you are observing, try a couple of the recipes and tell me your thoughts on them! If you want to take the journey but feel as though you can't share with me and lets discuss your edible journey to positive health!

Love and Happiness,

Ariel

Beet Information

Always remember the more firm and crunchy your veggies are the more nutrients you are consuming and your body will be replenished with!
Beet salad is healthy and packed full of vitamins and nutritients that vitamins can give in a sense but is waiting for the break down really worth it when you can just eat the greens and get the energy now!

Beets are rich in chlorphyll, they are very powerful cleansers and builders of blood. Betacyanin is the phytochemical in beautiful beets, and give the veggies their rich color, amethyst like, and guess what they reduce homocysteine levels. Also, beets are loaded wih A, B complex vitamins (B1, B2, B6) and C, high content of iron, calcium, magnesium, copper, phosphorus, sodium, choline, folic acid, iodine, manganese, potassium, fiber and carbs (the natural digestive sugar types...good carbs).

Beets iron, is not high enough to just eat beets all the time, however it is the highest and is an excellent blood builder!

It helps to combat acidosis, anemia, atheroscierosis, blood pressure issues, cancer, constipation, dandruff, detoification, gastric ulcers and many more!
